Plants are what Oakleaf Green Landscape Design does best! Oakleaf Green specializes in planting design, specification and installation services, a very fancy way of saying I deal in plants. I work with you, the homeowner, to develop a planting plan for your space, I purchase and install plants, and I follow through to be sure your new garden settles in. I also work with you, the landscape architect, to specify plants that most effectively transform your plans into three-dimensional gardens. My focus is primarily residential and civic, and I employ native and drought-tolerant plants wherever I can to lower garden maintenance and inputs as much as possible, and to promote sustainability.

Enjoy gardening, but need a hand implementing your ideas? Think you can’t afford to have your space landscaped? Oakleaf Green’s garden coaching and consulting services could be perfect for you. This can range from anything from helping you get a soil test to making sense of the dizzying array of plants available to learning how to actually plant them. Consulting services may also be combined with design/installation if you’d like to play a more active role in choosing plants or understanding how to care for your garden after it’s done.

You have a garden. Now what? Gardens can be planted in one season, yes, but follow-up is always required to see designed gardens through from new to established planting. Some argue true artistry in creating beautiful, functional gardens is in how they’re maintained once installed. Oakleaf Green offers select fine gardening services, such as pruning, transplanting, and specific plant care, to guide newly planted gardens in this transition and to get established gardens back on track. Fine gardening services may be combined with personal garden coaching for those maintaining their own gardens. Maintenance and plant care is available on a case by case basis.
